Dear Jen and family
Many memories of your Mom $ Dad when they lived in West Lorne--when he fixed our furnace. Also Jen remembering when Joe Johnston played soccer with your boy in Rodney. I know your pain as I just lost my husband Ted on Nov 28 after 60 yrs of marriage. He started and owned Canadian Collision here in West Lorne when your Mom & Dad lived here.
With sympathy Kathy

Our time together was much too brief but my memories of our Thelma and Louise shopping trips, sharing Kim's corny jokes and even hugs and tears during the saddest of times will hold a special place in my heart. Love and hugs, my dear friend.

Sharing a memory here —— “Pennies on the bridge” - every day penny walked to the 401 and put a penny on the railing of the road that crossed over. She walked to keep her strength and to enjoy the day. Till the day came that the railings were painted and all her pennies were taken down - no doubt from highway maintenance - but - penny in her defiant and stubborn ways left a note on the newly painted handrails — she explained her reasons for the pennies taped to the bridge and “demanded” they be put back —-( insert so much laughter here ) as - yes on her next walk to the bridge, those pennies were taped back with an apology letter.
Penny was the most amazing mom, sister, confidante and friend. Embrace your new journeys penny - and we will see you when we too walk that rainbow bridge —-

Penny was a great neighbour and friend! Spent time with her but not enough. She is finally with the love of her life and sure she is happy now. Missed Kim terribly .I finally gave up on giving her the devil for walking up to the variety store but she was kinda stubborn in that. We all will miss her.#14 Bonnie and Allan
